This group activity was a part of English lessons in Checkpoint 2 with Ms. Nita and Ms. Yulita as the teachers. The two teachers wanted that the students practice using quantifiers in their daily life in a fun way by conducting this exciting cooking show on Tuesday, 17 January 2017 with CP2B and on Friday, 20 January 2017. Quantifiers are words used for expressing quantity such as a can of coke, a spoonful of sugar, etc. Besides practicing the target lesson, they also practiced working as a team, which is a very important experience that will be useful for them when they work in the future.
Students enjoyed this activity very much, especially at the end of the lesson when they could have a small ‘party’ in class. Moreover, that week was even more exciting for the two English teachers as they could test their tongues with 12 different savory cuisines.
